Registration for the 2025-2026 dance season is on now. 

As of May 28th at 8am, registration is open to all new and returning students.

CURRENT FAMILIES can log into the Parent Portal to register for classes or check your class times (there have been some schedule adjustments).

Find class schedules for all levels under the Classes Tab (note: Current schedules are still online as well, be sure to pick from the next season).

 

Registration Process for 2025-2026 Classes

New students – will be able to register online now.  Once you have created an account and selected your class, you’ll check and pay the registration fee of $30+tax (a credit card is required).  If you don’t want to use a credit card, you can register via email — you’ll find the forms below.  The next time you access your account it will be through the parent portal.  Welcome to MDA!

 

Current students may register for the 2025-2026 dance season using the Parent Portal!  This portal gives you convenient access to all your student’s information including your contact info, payment history, billing details, current classes, recent emails we’ve sent, and more.  In the activities section, you can search by Program, Level, Location and more to add classes to your students for the upcoming season (as well as our Summer programs).   Please note that the classes will be available to view/select on the registration start date for that level beginning at 8am (not before).

 

Existing families can create a password using the ‘forgot password’ button.  If you cannot access the portal, please let us know what email you’d prefer to use as your login (along with your dancer name) and we’ll update that for you.

 

You can also set up your credit card for payments and select what payments you want us to use the card for:
–Auto – 10 week (for Children’s program, Hip Hop, Acro and Adult classes)
–Auto – monthly (for all ITP, Teen Program, and Competitive dancers)
–No Automatic (meaning we’ll only take the registration fee at check out)
–1st payment only (meaning we’ll use this card for the registration fee and the first tuition payment).

Select classes in the ACTIVITIES section, use the Level and Program filters to narrow your search.  More classes will be added each day, as the registration opens for each level.  You’ll select the class or classes for your student (one student at a time) and then assign those to a student.  You can use the filter to narrow the list to the classes you want.  For families enrolling siblings, you’ll repeat that process for each student.  When finished selecting classes, you’ll complete your registration by going to your CART and paying the registration fee ($30+tax per student or $40+tax per family).  This fee must be paid by credit card.  You’ll only pay this fee once per year, no matter how many classes you join.

 

The schedule is now online (it may still undergo changes as enrolment continues).  Please check your Portal again before classes begin in the fall to confirm your class schedule.

You may still register using a form and sending if via email, but this process will be slower than enrolling in classes yourself using the Parent Portal. Any new students who are registering for an advanced class based on an assessment must use a form to register.

Billing Info

Families with at least one student in the ITP Program, Teen Program, or Children’s Program and also Competitive Program are billed on a monthly schedule.  Tuition is billed one month in advance (Aug 13 and Sept 1-May1).  Sixty days notice is required to cancel classes.  Competitive and Elite fees are also billed monthly but are not billed in advance.  The annual Registration fee is due with registration and the annual Costume Rental Fee is due with the first tuition payment.

 

Families in our Children’s Program (NP, RD, Pr/Gr1, P1, MC, P2, P3, P4, HH, Acro, Teen Contemp, Adult) are billed in four installments throughout the year (ten weeks payments, prorated to your start date and adjusted to the end of the year) .  This payment is billed in a few weeks in advance.  When you have registered for a class, that spot is yours for the remainder of the year unless you notify the office otherwise.  Students can drop (or change) classes prior to any of the payment dates without penalty and no new fees will be due.  The annual Registration fee is due with registration and the annual Costume Rental Fee is due with the November tuition payment (or for later registration, with your registration).

 

Families in our Theatre Program’s weekly classes are billed are billed in four installments throughout the year (ten weeks payments, prorated to your start date and adjusted to the end of the year) .  This payment is billed in a few weeks in advance.  When you have registered for a class, that spot is yours for the remainder of the year unless you notify the office otherwise.  Students can drop (or change) classes prior to any of the payment dates without penalty and no new fees will be due.  Theatre Productions are billed in a lump sum.  The annual Registration fee is due with registration.

 

Ten-week payment installments dates are August 13, November 5, January 21 and March 25.

The Registration fee is $30+tax for a student OR $40+tax for a family.

The Costume Rental fee varies based on the dancer’s level, but is charges once per student (August for monthly accounts, November for ten week accounts).
