PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS

Please be advised that our Elite & Competitive programs are for serious/committed dancers only. The commitment level is very high, and students are not permitted to miss classes or rehearsals without being excused by the Director. Dancers are not able to miss classes rehearsals for other sports and attendance is expected to be very high. All Elite and Competitive dancers are required to take all dance exams for their level and dance to their full potential in each class and rehearsal.

These programs are not designed for every dancer/family and a great deal of consideration should be given prior to auditioning. Additionally, we have limited spaces in each program and unfortunately, not every dancer who auditions will be selected for one of the teams. If you or your child will be devastated by such an outcome, it may be beneficial to put the audition process on hold for now. Having said that, auditioning is a great skill to acquire, and everyone who qualifies is welcome to attend. We ask for your trust and understanding as we make our team selections. We put a great deal of care into class and team placements, and you can always be guaranteed that every decision is made with our dancers’ best interests at heart. Placement considerations include: age, talent level, dedication shown, performance quality, training experience, and technical capabilities.
